At Cal Xim, we wanted to revive what we’ve always understood as homemade food in our home: high-quality natural products, cooked daily following simple — yet almost forgotten — traditional recipes from Penedès, with dishes that are not hidden by seasonings. Grilled meats, accompanied by artichokes cooked over the coals, grilled pork feet and cheeks, sausages (especially the black one), beef, veal, and duck breast (one of the most requested) are the most popular dishes that come out of the fireplace.
Cal Ton Vell is a restaurant in Cantallops specializing in farmhouse cuisine and grilled dishes. It offers quality meats, seasonal vegetables, and traditional dishes with local products. With a rustic and cozy atmosphere, it is the perfect place to enjoy a great meal with family or friends.
The restaurant is located in the village of Sant Pere Molanta, in Olèrdola, surrounded by vineyards and very close to Vilafranca del Penedès. Founded in 1975, since day one, all kinds of dishes made in the wood-fired oven with oak wood have been the main focus.
Moixa is a small, cozy restaurant with plenty of natural light and fantastic views of Montserrat, surrounded by a simple and minimalist décor, located in Avinyonet del Penedès. Agritourism in the heart of Penedès since 1992. Cal Jeroni is a shared rural accommodation (room rentals), and Ca la Siona is a restored rural house with a capacity for 6 people. Both houses are located in the middle of the square of Cantallops, one of the rural hubs of the municipality of Avinyonet del Penedès, at the foot of the Ordal mountain range. They are accessible via the N-340 road that connects Barcelona and Tarragona.
